Window Covering Safety Matters Year-Round
Go Cordless for Kids
Help families make safer choices at home. Share the message all year long.
Window covering safety is an important conversation to have year-round. The Window Covering Safety Council (WCSC), in partnership with the Window Covering Manufacturers Association (WCMA), works to educate parents and caregivers about the strangulation risks associated with certain corded window coverings and the importance of choosing cordless products in homes with young children.
As window covering professionals, WCAA members play an important role in helping families make informed decisions about the products they bring into their homes. WCAA is proud to partner with WCMA in supporting these safety efforts and encourages all members to help spread the word.
The WCSC offers a free online toolkit with ready-to-share graphics, videos, and sample social media posts. Explore the resources and share them with your audience throughout the year to help keep window covering safety top of mind.
