We have an exciting career opportunity for someone who shares our passion for excellence and has a true entrepreneurial spirit.  We are excited about the opportunity to drive additional sales and growth through our already successful Custom Labor Department. We are seeking a leader who can expand upon our current custom offerings and help grow our business through ecommerce. 
This position will be based out of our Corporate Offices located in Southern Chester County, PA (Kennett Square) and will report to the Vice President of Store Operations.
The Custom Labor Product Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a consistent product offering.  This position will partner with Store Operations and Merchandising to introduce new products, enhance our existing offering, and manage our pricing strategy to improve the customer experience while driving sales and earnings.  
Specific Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate market trends, competitor offerings, store requests, customer needs, and workroom polls to determine optimal product mix within all categories of the custom labor offering.Identify needs and develop new product offering.
  • Work with internal team and workroom partners to design and engineer new products. Determine product structure, construction specifications, and pricing.
  • Maintain product database that includes product specifications, pricing, visual aids, and workroom information.
  • Responsible for cost and retail price management.Analyze sales and profit margins, negotiate cost pricing agreements with workrooms, determine retail pricing and work with stores to maintain appropriate gross profit margins.
  • Manage a successful launch of all new programs, products and services. Acts as a project manager overseeing internal team and partnering with cross functional teams for efficient and successful roll out of new products.
  • Determine training needs relating to existing and/or new products and programs.Partners with Training Department to develop as needed.
  • Partner with national workrooms to ensure consistent quality in products and service.Research and evaluate the potential of new national workroom resources, as well as new workroom opportunities.
  • Manage and communicate sales and product information to management team and stores.Provide training resources and key information to ensure store needs are met.Serve as the primary subject matter expert in regards to product, pricing, and margins.
  • Maintain company specific software programs to support labor business.
  • Communicate with workrooms regularly with a commitment to building strong, profitable relationships.
  • Partner with merchandising and marketing teams to determine products to feature in store displays, marketing photo shoots, and web development.
  • Conduct business and financial analysis, including forecasting, monitoring and reporting.

  • Must possess the ability to identify customer needs and develop products that will stand out amongst our competitors.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills; organizational skills and attention to detail are a must!
  • Solid technical background with an understanding of and experience using system software.High level of proficiency in MS Office.
  • A Bachelor’s degree along with work experience in product management, overseeing a business function or retail store management experience.
