Customer Care Assistant Manager/Supervisor

SelectShops.com is an e-commerce retailer located right off the US 60 in Mesa, Arizona. We are looking for a candidate that truly has a passion for customer service and is energetic and outgoing.  The ideal candidate will have demonstrated ability to achieve the following:

  • Directly manage a floor of inbound call center agents and ensure occupancy and service level metrics.
  • Background in design and training a plus!
  • Evaluate, coach and develop agents on service techniques and behavior for improved performance.
  • Assist agents on the floor with computer problems, telephone problems, policy issues and current sale promotions.
  • Monitor standards, metrics, performance criteria, policies and procedures to continuously improve call center productivity.
  • Provide guidance and manage agents' performance, time management, attendance, to ensure call center metrics are achieved on a monthly and annual basis.
  • Motivate and develop agents to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Interact with a variety of vendors to address escalated product and customer issues.
  • Handle escalated customer issues via direct phone call with customers, or mediating through BBB, review sites, and social media.
  • Assist with training and floor development of all agents.
  • Ability to handle all work assigned from upper management.

Skills/ Requirements

  • *Minimum Associates or higher, or related experience.
  • *Minimum 3 years management experience.
  • *Minimum 5 years Customer Service experience
  • *Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • *Type 40 WPM.
  • *Track record of improved team and/or center performance.
  • *Excellent verbal and written skills.
  • *Positive attitude.
  • *Ability to multitask and solve complex problems.
  • *Ability to work with no supervision, resolve escalate customer issues, drive department goals.
  • *Strong desire to serve others.
  • *Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage a high volume of daily interactions.
  • *Availability to work all sales holidays.

Important Notes

Our hours of operation are Monday Through Friday 6am to 9:30pm and Saturday and Sunday 7am - 4pm. You may be asked to work any period of time during our normal hours of operation. This is a full time position salary position.
