knowledge

and presentation
skills, ultimately
increasing

In
addition,
continuing
your education
with this
course will

Strict standards
are maintained
for passing
the examination.
We
recommend
that you
allow a minimum
of six weeks
for advance
study of
the material
before taking
the exam.
The
course
material
is comprised
of two
parts:
Part
A: Basics
of Window
Treatments
Includes
information
on window
treatment
functions,
measurements,
hardware
selection
and installation,
fiber
properties
and product
care
Part
B: Custom
Window
Treatments
This
part
covers
period
window
treatments,
calculating
yardage,
selecting
the right
fabric,
combining
treatments
and creativity
in design.
When
you register,
you will
receive
the textbook, Window
Treatments by
Karla Nielson,
the course
study guides
and two
video tapes
of Karla
conducting
a review
class.
Karla
is an Assistant
Professor
at Brigham-Young
University,
a well
known industry
speaker,
author
of several
other books
on interior
design
and brings
hands-on
experience
from being
the owner
of a retail
interior
design
business.
Certification
Exam
After
successfully
completing
the
examination,
you
will
receive
your
certification
recognition
package,
which
includes
a
certificate,
press
release,
and
lapel
pin.
Maintaining
your
current
certification
status
requires
your
active
participation
in
the
industry
and
your
desire
to
improve
level
of
knowledge.
